Thursday 4 June we were so motivated as we welcomed Ruth to our school. Ruth is such an inspiration particular when she re-created one of her stories through drama and story telling. The whole school was captured and the energy was infectious.
Following morning tea, Ruth led a writing workshop. The students created a 'scribble picture.' They then passed their scribble to the next child who then created a character which was the base of the narrative they wrote.
The imagination and collective creative minds was inspiring and I only hope some of the students complete and publish their narrative.
Thanks Ruth, you're an inspiration and NZ is lucky to have you as an author.
