Monday 5 May we had 16 students from Y4-8 represent Renwick School at the regional Chesspower tournament.
I was very impressed with the way the team respected the requirements, rules and routines of the day. Each player played 7 rounds, 15 minute rounds as they worked their way to prize giving to learn of how they went.
Leo and Cooper qualified for the National Chess tournament in Auckland, well done boys.
