Y8's exploring Abel Tasman

What a phenomenal part of Aotearoa our Y8's are currently visiting.  Abel Tasman is a pure delight and definitely shows off how beautiful our country is.

Today Jackson, Heather and I went out by water taxi to catch up with the two groups - Hillary and Tenzing.  First stop for us was Bark Bay where we found a mass of tents,  children laughing, swimming and exploring in clear waters and golden sands of the Abel Tasman area.

The years of watching the Y8's head off for this week of celebration, had finally arrived for our 2023 Y8 students.  What an absolute privellege this trip is and I thank the staff, Cris, Tore, Nick and Deb for all you do to make this happen.

11.30am we were off to see the other group at Anchorage.  Children in the water, friendships strengthening and new places explored.   Once again the pure beauty of the place was received well by the students, staff and parents.

Well done to you all and I hope the rest of the week goes well, see you back at school on Friday
