Information & Communication Technology
Our school's vision in regard to ICT is “To be the leading school in Marlborough in ICT”
This is a priority for our school and we have made great progress towards realising this vision.
We have:
- ceiling mounted data projectors in every classroom
- Mimio technology in our 8 senior classrooms and one extra for others' use, enabling us to use our whiteboards interactively
- 4 x Visualisers
- 4 Mac computers in each of our Year 5/6 and 7/8 rooms
- all other rooms well equipped with computers
- a range of digital video and still cameras available for all classes to use
We are currently in training to use KnowledgeNet as our Learning Management System. This provides a platform for our students to showcase their learning digitally in many ways and to share their learning with their parents through the parent portal. We hope to have this open for parents to use before the end of 2011.
