Information Technology
Our schools vision in regard to IT is “To be the leading school in Marlborough for IT”
This is a priority for our school and we have made great progress towards realising this vision.
We have:
- ceiling mounted data projectors in every classroom
- Mimio technology in our 8 senior classrooms and one extra for others' use, enabling us to use our whiteboards interactively
- 2 x Visualisers
- 4 Mac computers in our 4 Year 7/8 rooms
- at least 4 computers in each of our year 5/6 rooms
- two digital video cameras and a digital still camera for each team
We are currently in training to use KnowledgeNet as our Learning Management System. This provides a platform for our students to showcase their learning digitally in many ways and to share their learning with their parents through the parent portal.
